Manager John McLaughlin spoke to the official site afterwards :
"We were awful in the first half and were in danger of being slaughtered but we changed things about both in terms of personnel and formation and that seemed to work well for us. In the end I was disappointed we did not go on to win the game but they showed that they can play and what I want now is to see pace, energy and winning the one on one battles and if we can do that then we will win more than we lose.
It should also be remembered that we finished with 8 Under 19's on the park at the end and I want to say a particular well done to Andy Ross, who as one of the more experienced players, went back into defence and helped the young boys out impressively."
Trailist Mitchell Johnson who played in the game today wont be offered a contract after Gerry Britton and Derek Whyte decided he was no better than what they currently have on offer right now.
