Linton own goal boosts Partick
Partick continued their 100 per cent start to the season with a 2-1 victory over Cowdenbeath.
Scott Linton's own goal 20 minutes from time extended the Jags' winning league run to six games.
Aaron Muirhead gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot in the 25th minute after John Armstrong had brought down Chris Erskine. The defender placed his penalty high to the right for his first goal of the season.
Jamie Stevenson got the visitors back on level terms four minutes after the interval with a spectacular goal. The midfielder picked up the ball 30 yards out and let fly with an unstoppable strike into the top corner
But Cowdenbeath couldn't hold on for a point as Aaron Sinclair's 70th minute cross from the left was turned past his own goalkeeper by Linton from six yards out.
